In the Kraaft Planning, you assign resources to your conversations or worksites. A resource is anything that keeps your worksites running:

🤖 How resources work in the Kraaft Planning
By default, your resources are the users of your Kraaft workspace 👥 If you work with Charlotte, Jean or Lucas, they automatically appear in your planning.
You can also customise your list of resources to suit your needs 🔧
🛠️ Create a custom resource in Kraaft
Do you have resources that aren't Kraaft users? Trucks, breakers, temp workers… no problem! 🚚
Go to the Planning tab 🗓️
Click the three dots ⋯ in the top right corner
Select Manage
Click Create a custom resource ➕
Give it a name (e.g. "12T dump truck", "Team B", "Generator")
Pick an icon to spot it at a glance 👁️
It's added straight to your list: you can start planning right away! ✨
✏️ Manage and organise your Kraaft resources
👁️ Hide a resource: from ⋯ > Manage, untick the resources you no longer want to see in the planning
↕️ Reorder resources: from the main planning view, click and hold a resource, then drag it up or down
↔️ Widen the resources panel: drag the right edge of the resources column to make it wider or narrower. Handy for reading long names in full 💡
🎛️ Rename, remove or delete: from the main view, click the three dots to the right of a custom resource. You have three options:
😇 Rename: change the resource's name
↩️ Remove: take it off the planning while keeping its history
🗑️ Delete: delete it permanently
⚠️ Good to know
You can't rename Kraaft users (licences), but you can hide them if needed!
😶🌫️ A hidden resource that still has an assignment on the planning stays visible in grey at the end of the list. Click More to expand these greyed-out resources, or Less to hide them 🔽
👤 A team member has left the Kraaft workspace?
Good news: their planning history is kept 🧡 They appear in grey at the bottom of your Kraaft resources list, along with hidden resources.
Use the More and Less buttons at the bottom of the list to show or hide former team members 🔽
✨ Assign several resources at once in the Kraaft Planning
Want to give the same assignment to several resources in one go? You can! 🚀
Start creating an assignment on a resource 📋
Click the Add resources field
Search for and select the other resources to include 🔍
They show up as tags: add as many as you need 🏷️
Confirm: all the resources get the same assignment in one click ✅
🟠 Spot a resource that's already busy in the Kraaft Planning
When you pick a resource for an assignment, Kraaft tells you if it's already taken 👀
🟠 An orange Busy badge appears next to the resource in the selection list
📅 It shows up as soon as the resource is already assigned on at least one of the dates involved
💬 Hover over the badge to see the name of the conversation it's already assigned to
💡 No more double bookings
With the Busy badge, you instantly see whether your truck or site manager is already booked elsewhere. You can pick another resource or adjust your dates before confirming 🎯
