πŸ“‹ The Table Field in Reports

πŸš€ New Table Field in Kraaft Reports !

Updated today

Kraaft makes managing your data easier with an innovative feature: the table field! πŸ“Š

This new field lets you add tables directly into your reports, offering unmatched flexibility for organizing and exporting your data. With this table, you can visualize and structure your information more clearly, while keeping full control over how it's presented 😎

πŸ“‹ What is it for?

The table field allows you to incorporate multiple entries in table format within a report. It's like a mini-report embedded directly inside a larger report, providing better organization and export flexibility πŸ“„

πŸ‘€ Where to find and add this field?

To add a table field, follow these steps:

  1. In the left-hand menu on your computer

  2. Click on Reports

  3. Select the report in which you want to add the table field

  4. Create the table and drag the fields you want to display into it βœ…

πŸ“‘ Report Template:

When you create your table in the report, you can drag the desired fields into it! Here's what you need to know:

  • Title: the first field you add will be the first cell of the table and will serve as the title for each entry

  • Sections: you can place this table inside a section and even put sections inside the table πŸ”„

  • Conditions: a condition on a field within a table field only applies inside the table field πŸ‘€

  • You cannot have a table field inside a table field

  • Field limit: fields included in the table field are not counted toward the 300-field limit 🀩 This is a significant advantage, allowing you to detail your report without worrying about limits! πŸŽ‰

🚨 Warning: If you decide to remove a field from the table, you risk losing data; it is therefore important to properly structure your tables from the start!

πŸ“ Filling in the Report:

To fill in your report, you should :

  1. Click on the report containing the table field

  2. In the table field, click the Add button to create a new entry

  3. Fill in the entry with the necessary information βœ…

  4. You can add as many entries as you like πŸ˜‰

This feature allows you to structure multiple pieces of data in table format within your report, while maintaining great flexibility for organizing information πŸš€

πŸ“€ Report Export:

By customizing an export template, simply add the table field tag and a table will automatically be created with all the entries πŸ“‹

  • You can choose to export the entire report with the table entries, or download each entry separately ⛓️‍πŸ’₯

  • The export is customizable for entries : you can add templates containing only the table field tags if needed!

πŸ” Database:

To view the entries of the table field ➑️ you need to click on each table in each report to open the mini database containing all the entries for that particular report ;)

βš™οΈ Automations:

🚨 Important: For now, automations linked to table fields in reports are not yet functional πŸ‘€
