🖼️ Photos with watermark

Automatically adds the date, location and author to photos exported from Kraaft

Kraaft makes your life easier by automatically adding a watermark to your exported photos 📸 No more manual annotations — every downloaded photo carries its info with it 🚀

🖼️ What appears on the Kraaft watermark

The Kraaft watermark can display up to 4 types of information on your photos:

  • 📅 The date & time added on Kraaft

  • 🗺️ The exact GPS coordinates

  • 👤 The sender's name (can be disabled)

  • 📍 The full address (street, postcode, city)

💡 Good to know — The photo in your Kraaft conversation always stays clean ✨ The watermark only appears on export — the original is never modified.

⚙️ Activate and configure the Kraaft watermark

⚠️ This action is reserved for administrators or account owners, and can only be done from the Kraaft web app 💻

Activate the watermark:

  1. 🌐 Log in to Kraaft on the web

  2. ⚙️ Open Settings

  3. 🖼️ Click on Watermark

  4. ✅ Toggle it on

Customise the watermark:

Once activated, fine-tune the display from the Placement and order tab 🎨

  • 📍 Placement: choose the position of the watermark on the photo (e.g. Bottom left)

  • 🔀 Order: drag each element to change their display order on the photo

  • 👤 Sender: disable it by clicking the toggle next to it

⏱️ When the Kraaft watermark is added automatically

By default, the watermark applies in 3 cases 💡:

  • 📄 Generating a report (PDF or Word)

  • 📸 Downloading a photo from folders

  • 📤 Exporting conversations

You can enable or disable each case from the Display rules tab in the Watermark settings 🔧

🚨 One limitation to know about the Kraaft watermark

The watermark does not appear on photos in a report or database exported in Excel format 📊

To use the watermark on your photos, prefer PDF, Word exports or direct downloads from folders ✅
