🔑 Who can set up auto-add in Kraaft
Only administrators and account owners of the workspace can change this setting 👤 It applies to the whole Kraaft workspace, not just to the person who changes it 💡

Go to Manage, then Auto-add
Choose the timing that suits your teams ✅
⏱️ Choose the right auto-add timing
Kraaft gives you five options 👇
🚫 Never — nobody is added automatically
⚡ At creation — the person joins the conversation as soon as they are assigned
📅 1 day before — they join the conversation the day before the assignment starts, at 7 am
📆 2 days before — they join two days before the start, at 7 am
🗓️ 1 week before — they join seven days before the start, at 7 am
Here's an example 🎯 Paul is assigned to the Dupont worksite starting on 28 September. With 1 day before, he joins the conversation on 27 September at 7 am, whatever the start time. If that deadline has already passed when he is assigned, he is added right away ✅
💡 Why not set everything to “At creation”?
If you plan a worksite three months ahead, your field teams would see the conversation show up on their home screen far too early 📱 A delay of a few days keeps their conversation list clear and focused on current worksites 👷
🔄 What happens when you change the auto-add setting
Kraaft shows you a message when a setting change triggers an action 💬
🚫 To “Never” — all scheduled additions are cancelled, but nobody is removed from conversations
⚡ From “Never” to “At creation” — existing assignments are not processed: only new assignments, or ones you edit, trigger an addition
📅 To “X days before” — upcoming assignments are taken into account, and people whose deadline has already passed are added immediately
🔁 From one timing to another — scheduled additions are recalculated based on the new timing
⚡ From “X days before” to “At creation” — everyone waiting is added right away
⚠️ An addition that has already happened is never reversed — if you delete the assignment afterwards, the person stays in the conversation. However, if the assignment is deleted before the deadline, the scheduled addition is cancelled.
👷 Who gets added, and to which Kraaft conversation
👤 Only Kraaft users are added — equipment, vehicles and other custom resources don't trigger anything
💬 For an assignment linked to a conversation, the person joins that conversation
📋 For an assignment linked to a report, they join the conversation the report belongs to
➖ An assignment linked to neither a conversation nor a report doesn't trigger any addition
🔔 The added person gets a notification, just like a manual addition
✅ If they are already a member of the conversation, or have been deactivated in the meantime, nothing happens
