Want to update your account information on Kraaft? It's quick and you can do it directly from your account! 🙌
⚠️ You can edit your own information, but not your colleagues'.
🖋️ You can change your name, phone number or email address.
✍️ Update your information on mobile 📱
Tap on the Menu at the bottom right of your screen
Select My Profile from the list of options
Tap the small blue pen 🖊️ next to the information you want to change (name, phone or email):
To change your name:⚠️ This will affect all the message history sent from this account! If you recovered the Kraaft account of a former user:
Click on I have recovered the Kraaft account of a former user
Or contact us, and we'll take care of it for you 😉
To change your phone number → enter the code received by SMS to confirm the change ✅
To change your email address → enter your Kraaft account password 🔒
💻 Update your information on desktop
Click on Settings at the bottom left of your screen
Select My Profile
Click the Edit button next to the information you want to change (name, phone or email)
🌍 Change the language of your Kraaft app
Kraaft lets you personalise the app language just for you! 🎯 Here's how:
Tap on Menu at the bottom right of your screen
Select My Profile
Tap on Language and choose yours
Languages available on Kraaft: 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇩🇪 🇳🇱 🇪🇸
💡 This change applies only to you — it doesn't change the language for your whole team.
👤 Need to update a colleague's information?
It's not possible to directly edit another team member's information 🙅 If you need to make a change for a colleague, contact our support — we'll find the best solution together! 💬
🚫 Cases where the modification isn't possible
SSO: If you log in via SSO (your company's authentication), you won't be able to change your email yourself 🛠️ Contact your system administrator or our support team to make the change
Error message: "Another Kraaft account is already linked to this number/email" ⚠️
If you see this message, there are a few possible reasons:
An existing active account is already linked to this identifier → this is a duplicate account 🔁
An old inactive account is linked to this identifier 💤
A past login attempt automatically created an account linked to this identifier, even without completing the process
