Kraaft helps you structure repetitive data directly in your reports with the table field! π
π― What is the Kraaft table field?
In a Kraaft report, you can add any type of field to collect information: location, date, signature, dropdown list... π‘ (cf. Field types in Kraaft)
But when you're faced with repetitive information β timesheets, attendance signatures, material tracking β without knowing in advance how many times you'll need to enter it, a standard field just isn't enough π€
That's exactly where the table field comes in π‘ It appears in your report like any other field, but it contains its own mini-report: you drag in the fields of your choice (location, signature, text, list...), and when filling in the report you can add as many entries as needed β no limit, no need to plan the number in advance π
πΌ What is it actually used for?
With the table field, you set up a structure once, then add as many rows as needed at fill-in time β It's especially useful for:
π Attendance sheet β one row per participant with first name, last name, date and signature. No more setting up 20 fields in advance!
β Punch list / snagging β one row per issue with description, photo and status (open / in progress / resolved). Perfect for site follow-up
π© Material tracking β one row per product with name, quantity and price. Great for daily reports
π Site diary β one row per completed task with duration, number of operators and notes
π¦Ί Safety form (toolbox talk) β one row per participant to sign off, without multiplying fields in your template
π³οΈ Trench, drilling or lighting point inspections β one row created = one item checked, for precise and complete tracking
In short: whenever you need to repeat the same structure multiple times in a report, the table field is the answer π―
π Filling in a table field in a Kraaft report
Open the relevant report in Kraaft π±
Scroll down to the table field β you'll see the Add button to create a first entry
Tap Add: a new row appears in the table π
Open that row to access the fields and fill in the information β
Go back to the table and repeat with Add for each new item β there's no limit on entries π
β οΈ Note: the table field is not compatible with voice input at the moment.
